Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad says he hasn't dismissed the Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) and would like Daim Zainuddin to continue to serve the government as his input is still required.
Dr Mahathir also denied that the CEP had a term limit of 100 days.
Yesterday, Daim Zainuddin, who heads the five-person team, said the CEP has completed its 100-day mandate.
