Once perceived as a dictator during his previous premiership, Dr Mahathir Mohamad's approval rating went up to 83 percent when he led Pakatan Harapan to victory in GE14.
However, his second stint as prime minister at the age of 93, hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park. His approval rating dropped to 46 percent by March 2019, according to pollster Merdeka Centre.
Mahathir conceded that Malaysians have mixed feelings about his leadership, with some even wishing for his demise.
