Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said on Wednesday that the crime in the sex video implicating Azmin Ali is that there is an alliance to bring down the economic affairs minister.
"I see it as a political move, not because there is a crime.
"The crime is the alliance that is trying to bring down Azmin," he told journalists at the Parliament lobby today.
Mahathir's made this comment despite PKR president Anwar Ibrahim stressing that police should not only look at who circulated the sex video but also whether it was authentic.
