MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong questioned on Thursday why Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub had recently sought to award a contract worth RM1.4bil to the National Farmers Organisation (Nafas).
Dr Wee claimed that the contract was previously advertised as open tender.
