Drake Bell Speaks Out About Josh Peck Wedding Snub

When Drake & Josh fans found out Drake wasn’t invited to Josh’s wedding, they were shocked--but no one was as shocked as Drake himself!
A few weeks back Drake found out that his former Drake & Josh co-star, Josh Peck, got married to his longtime girlfriend Paige O’Brien. Upon hearing the news via the internet along with the rest of us, Drake tweeted QUOTE, “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear...Loyalty is key...ALWAYS remember where you came from”. Drake has since deleted the tweets, and reports came out that Drake and Josh hadn’t actually spoken in a few years. Now, Drake is opening up and setting the record straight.
In a new interview with People, Drake explained of not being invited to the wedding QUOTE, “I was caught off guard. I hadn’t heard of anything about it.” But he insists that despite his twitter rant, there are no hard feelings, saying QUOTE, “He’s been by best friend for 18 years. In all honesty, we talk all the time, we’ve been talking. I was just expecting…”
He went on to say that he had no idea his tweets would blow up as big as they did, saying, “That was a shock. I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. I did not realize that it was going to have such a viral affect.” And as far as angry fans go, Drake also admitted he was displeased with the amount of hate Josh received following the tweets, adding, “That’s my bro you know? It’s kind of one of those things were you’re fighting with him on the playground, but if someone else says something, you’re like — ‘Hey, I can say that but you can’t!’”
As if we weren’t confused and heartbroken over this wedding drama enough! I don’t know about you guys, but after hearing Drake say that they talk all the time, I’m more confused than ever as to how he didn’t score an invite. Hopefully Josh will offer some insight into why that was the case, and who knows--maybe this entire ordeal will bring them closer together?! Let’s hope so, because I know I’m not the only one still hoping for a Drake & Josh reunion at some point in the future.
