Deputy Human Resources minister Mustapha Sakmud said the e-wages system needs to be refined before it is launched.

This is due to the developments in digital technology such as Blockchain.

Sakmud added that more discussions are need with stakeholders such as Home ministry and the Finance ministry, as well as Bank Negara Malaysia.
