Incumbent Batu MP Tian Chua claims his campaign workers have been intimidated and threatened with arrest by the Election Commission and Kuala Lumpur City Hall for putting up banners in the voting district.
He also states that banners in several areas within the voting district have been removed.
In a statement, Tian Chua further alleges Harapan-backed independent candidate P Prabakaran was never informed why these campaign materials were deemed inappropriate and "ripped off", while those of BN and PAS were left untouched.
