The Election Commission today announced that the nomination and polling dates for the 14th General Elections will be set only after all state assemblies (with the exception of Sarawak) have been dissolved.
According to the EC Chief Commissioner Mohd Hashim Abdullah, only four state assemblies have been dissolved to date, being those of Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Perlis.
