The Election Commission (EC) has received notification of the vacancy of the Nenggir state seat in Kelantan and will convene a meeting on June 28 to discuss the holding of polls.
EC secretary Ikmalrudin Ishak said the commission received the official notice from Kelantan state assembly speaker Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.
