A 72-year-old woman suffered head injuries after was set upon by a snatch thief as she tried to get into her car in Taman Limau Manis, Kota Bharu.
According to local police, two suspects have been arrested, including the accomplice who waited in a black Proton Persona.
The getaway vehicle is said to belong to the father-in-law of one of the two suspects.
Police also said they've retrieved the stolen handbag, including RM200 and identification documents belonging to the victim.
