Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu has lost a vote of confidence in the state legislature.
After the vote was concluded, Ahamd Faizal (PN-Chenderiang) was allowed to address the House and acknowledged the vote. He promised a smooth transition.
He thanked all the assemblypersons, with a special shout out to his former allies in Pakatan Harapan.
"I miss you guys sometimes actually, seriously," he said with a chuckle.
He hoped that his successor would continue efforts to empower women and ensure the state government and GLCs become more efficient.
