Fans SLAM Kylie Jenner Forbes Cover For Not Being a "Self-Made" Billionaire

First of all, it’s not shade. It’s a legitimate question. Today, Forbe’s dropped a bombshell of a cover with Kylie jenner on it under the title: “America’s Women Billionaires.” In it, Forbes asserts that Kiley is modestly worth at least 900 million and in another year she’ll likely be the youngest self made billionaire ever- beating out Mark Zuckerberg. But a lot of people have a bone to pick with this title. Even Dictionary.com had something to say about it. How about the usually unopinionated accounted tweeted a very sly dig at Forbe’s use of the word “self-made.” QUOTE “Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided. Used in a sentence: Forbes says that Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman.” Some tweets are priceless. Again, not a dig at Kiley. But an obvious point to be made about how Kiley inherited the two things she needed to launch her Kylie Cosmetics business: fame and millions of dollars. How is THAT unaided? Needless to say, the tweet quickly amassed thousands of retweets and likes as several Twitter users echoed similar sentiments. One person wrote “calling kylie jenner a ‘self-made billionaire’ is like claiming you made soup from scratch because you opened a can and reheated it.”
Another tweeted “Calling Kylie Jenner self made is like saying cardi b spelled ‘kulture’ right.”
Tom Hinds wrote “Self made lol. Born into privilege and used that as a start up. Honour the women and men who started with nothing and made billions . The real entrepreneurs who literally had nothing and made it.”
Cody wrote
Listen, I by no means hate Kylie Jenner but is it really fair to call any child of a celebrity a "self made millionaire" ?
And MY favorite: kylie jenner’s “self-made” empire is almost as funny as donald trump’s “small loan of 1 million dollars”
But guess what. Her fans punched right back with valid points of their own. Plaintain Papi pointed out, “Kylie Jenner paid a couple hundred dollars to get her lips done.
Then she made 8.7 million off selling a cosmetic lip kit then got her lips removed.
And that is how you flip a brick.”
I love plantains, btw. Stevie wrote “Your family can give you millions to start a business. But to get $670m in sales from strangers takes some doing. Let's give Kylie Jenner the respect she deserves.”
And @Graffigirl wrote “There is no inheritance or big corporation behind Kylie Cosmetics. There is no other investor apart from Kylie Jenner. That’s a self made woman.”
She’s got a point too. I don’t know about you, but my brain hearts. Also, I feel really poor. Like really poor. I was so proud that I’m able to afford sheets with a thread count of OVER 300. And now… I just feel broke. It’s like money fomo. Fear of missing out… on being a billionaire. Anyhoo, anyone else with me? Anyone else wanna burn their wallets or disconnect the internet?
