Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) president and chief executive officer Zakaria Arshad was today questioned for four hours by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Zakaria, who arrived at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya at around 2.20pm, told reporters that he was there to assist investigations on allegations concerning mismanagement in the company.
"I will also submit several documents," he said.
On Tuesday, Zakaria and three other FGV officers were asked to take an indefinite leave of absence for allegedly violating the corporate code of governance.
FGV chairperson Isa Abdul Samad said this was a decision made by the entire board.
Zakaria claimed he had tried to stop hundreds of millions in investments by the company's board which he described as "ridiculous".
