Fifth Harmony are currently jet settin’ the world on tour, but that’s not stopping them from also settin’ a new monumental musical record.
So if you didn’t know (and, really, how could you not), well now you REALLY know… Fifth Harmony is on FIRE and they’re not burnin’ out any time soon.
This week has sure been one for the books for the ladies of Fifth Harmony, who just hit the road on their highly anticipated 7/27 world tour, but that wasn’t their only other ‘first’ this week. They’ve just added one more milestone to their successful (and still thriving) career with ONE BILLION Vevo views on their music video for last year’s Reflection hit “Worth It” featuring Kid Ink, becoming the first EVER girl group to ever hit a billion.
And it looks like they might even be on track to achieve the same milestone for one of their most recent hits “Work From Home”, featuring Ty Dolla Sign, which has over 750 million view and counting. So, one could say this calls for a little celebratory performance, and that may have been what the fab five just did this week.
During last night’s episode of ABC’s music tribute series “Greatest Hits”, the girls honored one of their own favorite girl groups with a medley of hits, and I’ve just gotta say, they were lookin’ extra BOOTYLICIOUS last night... are you seeing where I’m going with this?
The girls SLAYED an entire medley honoring one of their biggest inspirations, Destiny’s Child, beginning with ‘Say My Name’, and one of the most epic girl-power anthems of all time, ‘Independent Woman’. Take a look:
From there, they got to WERK with ‘Bootylicious’ and finished the medley on a strong note with ‘Survivor’, and that they are, as proven with four years of hard work and dedication. And now that you’ve heard it from them, I want to hear all your thoughts on Fifth Harmony’s milestone, their Destiny’s Child tribute, and hey, who’s going to see them on tour?!
