Fifth Harmony JUST cancelled their Australian Tour, and now fans are fearing the worst.
OMG, you guys, is Fifth Harmony breaking up for good?
Well, before you get too concerned, as far as we know, the girl group is still together. But, not gonna lie… fans are pretty concerned for the girls’ future together, especially since the news surfaced two days ago that they’re cancelling their Australia tour. It’s important to note, though, that this wouldn’t be the first time this happened. The girl group cancelled several European tour dates on their 7/27 tour last year as well.
On Tuesday, TEG Live, the promoter for 5H, announced that the tour was cancelled due to, QUOTE, “necessary scheduling requirements.” Of course, stuff like this happens with artists all of the time, but due to the recent news that Lauren Jauregui is making the switch from Epic to Columbia records to release her own solo album, combined with the fact that Normani just released a project with Khalid and has shared solo aspirations of her own, fans are utterly convinced this is the end for Fifth Harmony.
Worried fans took to Twitter immediately after the news broke to express their concern for the future of the girl group. One Harmonizer wrote, QUOTE, “Fifth Harmony are gonna break up how do I prepare myself for this,” with another adding, QUOTE, “@FifthHarmony please don’t break up. We’re supposed to get a Grammy-worthy 4th album.”
While we certainly hope that this isn’t the case and that the girls continue to make music together for a long time, if you’re an Australian Harmonizer who bought tickets to one of the cancelled shows, you will be fully refunded. Other shows, including the ones scheduled for Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Abu Dhabi, Philippines, Singapore and Orlando throughout February and March will still go on as planned.
Well, here’s to hoping the girls make their way back to Australia soon!
