National Heart Institute’s anaesthesiologist Dr Nadia Mohd Ariffin told reporters on Wednesday that fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim's heart and lungs are currently being supported by an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine (ECMO). She said the 24-year-old’s heart rate and blood pressure showed that he was in stable condition. Muhammad Adib was attacked by rioters when he was on duty during a standoff at the Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu temple in Subang Jaya on Tuesday.
