Flash From The Past: Half Century Jalan Imbi ‘Hor Fun’

Jalan Imbi is one of KL's most laidback area with a long tradition of good food. Nowadays it is surrounded by high rise development and lots of tourists! However, Manaweblife went back to a bit of history and memories with the visit to an old favourite haunt called Win Heng Seng coffee shop at the corner of Jalan Imbi along a row of century-old shop lots.  This is probably the last remaining old-style kopitiam in this area of modern hotels and cafes. The shop features a 50 plus-year-old traditional ‘hor fun’ noodle stall run by  the  Kok family. The serving is simple yet deliciously traditional and tempting. Take a look at the video and it will bring back good memories. This stall starts business at 6:30 am till 2:30 pm and closes on Wednesdays. The video will tempt you to taste a local favourite that has withstood the test of time at Jalan Imbi.
