Floral Foam - Is this VIRAL Trend the New Slime?!

Floral foam is just that stuff florists use at the bottom of vases to secure flower arrangements.
But ASMR Insta is just too creative to use things for what they’re actually intended for which is why they’re soaking them with water, covering them in glitter, and squeezing them out! See for yourself!
I gotta admit, I could watch these for days. There are some without glitter, some with noodles and eggs, some where the foam gets sliced with a cheese cutter, you name it!
But everything that appears to be pure and good has a dark side, as apparently squishing floral foam with your bare hands could be dangerous.
According to an Australian floral retailer, the foam is made with formaldehyde and other chemicals that aren’t suuuuper great for your skin.
So while it may hurt your instagram aesthetic to wear gloves, it’s recommended!
Although I’m sure glitter gloves exist.
Aaaand florists warn that dumping the chemical glitter water down the drain is bad for the environment, because…. chemicals.
But let’s pretend I didn’t say anything and watch one more video!
