"Flying Fingers" Pan Mee Found In Jejarom

Double Treats In Jenjarom : "Flying" Pan Mee &  "Powder-Free" Laksa
This video takes you on a culinary detour off the main roads of Banting to a new village called Kampung Baru Sungai Jarom. Here we found a bright traditional wooden house lined with red stools and white table at its perimeter. This is indeed a welcome sight if you are from the concrete jungle. ( Time to take those selfies too! ) It's a food stall operated in the home of Ms Yee. She started since she was 23 and it has been at it for  33 years now. What makes this place so lasting is  the main serving. On report named it "fly" pan mee ( which means fast in Chinese ) and that description has stuck on till now. Indeed, her traditional  Hokkien 'styel pan mee is called "ming fun ko", meaning flour cake and is a traditional Hokkien daily supple. Take a closer look at how Ms Yee showcase her skills with her Donnie Yen-style flying fingers as she rips out the pan mee into hot soup !  Fast, swift and tasty all at one go ! Beside this pan mee, she also has another specialty: chili powder-free curry laksa. She uses pure, grounded chilis and coconut milk instead of conventional curry powder. You can see in the video her tempting  spicy pot of soup. All these will certainly make your detour into this village an interesting and memorable one. You will come back for more .
