Former Bersatu vice-president Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen has been re-admitted to Umno.

Rafiq said his application to rejoin Umno was approved by the Umno supreme council last night.

"I am aware that my decision to join Umno now will not be popular. Some will not agree or accept it. However, I believe that my political career, which is full of challenges since the beginning, which today has taken me back to Umno, is the will of Allah," he said.
