The Public Accounts Committee (PAC), under the helm of its former chairman Datuk Hasan Ariffin, had assumed the Auditor-General’s final report on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) given by Tan Sri Ambrin Buang, was not tampered with.
Hasan admitted this when quizzed by reporters at the Parliament lobby on Tuesday, adding that the PAC was not aware of any amendments made on the report when it was submitted by the former Auditor-General on March 4, 2016.
