Operators of furniture-painting industry are protesting against the unreasonable penalty imposed by the Customs for unpaid sales tax. Muar Furniture Association (MFA) Secretary-General Poh Leong Yah said they have been exempted for over 30 years. Meanwhile, MCA President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said he will work together with the Cabinet to raise this issue.
