Gigi Hadid and Zayn Break Up & Cryptic Love Note Post-Split

Another day, another Hollywood breakup. First Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris went their separate ways and now it’s been confirmed that Zayn and Gigi Hadid are the next Hollywood couple to go.
That’s right Zigi shippers, after roughly seven months of adorable puppy love, Zayn and Gigi are completely dunzo – well, for now at least.
You guys, this isn’t just a rumor. E! News confirmed that Zayn and Gigi have gone their separate ways and a couple of sources close to the dynamic duo have come out of the woodworks to comment on Zigi’s relationship.
An insider revealed to E! News that the ridiculously good looking couple’s relationship wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows! The two have been having some problems for quite some time and it apparently started around the time of Gigi’s birthday. They said QUOTE, “During her birthday, they were fighting.” The insider continued to reveal that the two weren’t doing too well during that time and since then they’ve “broken up and got back together a few times.”
It’s hard to believe that Zayn and Gigi were going through a rough patch during her birthday week, especially since Z was basically her prince in shining armor who took care of the model during her huge birthday bash at The Nice Guy. But, obviously things aren’t always as they seem. In fact, Life & Style Magazine reported that the supposed reason behind their sudden split is because Z wanted to QUOTE, “live the rockstar lifestyle.”
But, it doesn’t sound like that excuse will hold up at all because a different source told E! that there’s a really big possibility that Zigi get back together. The source said, “Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They have been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.” Even though we could see a Zigi reconciliation in the future, Gigi is really upset about the breakup and she’s made her feelings very clear to her close circle of friends.
The source added QUOTE, “Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It’s more about the constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close.” I guess that explains the model’s cryptic message on Snapchat.
Sometime yesterday, Gigi posted a picture of a greeting card that had a T-Shirt with a red heart on its sleeve to her story. The card was captioned with the words, “I know it’s obvious, but I still love you.” The 21-year-old added a little smiley face at the bottom of the picture. I mean, there’s no way of telling if that message was meant for Zayn, but in light of this breakup news, there’s a huge possibility that it is.
