Gigi Hadid addresses her body shamers in a new interview by Vogue. Get it girl. Whaaaaat’s up, friends! Truth be told, this video by Vogue is 11 minutes long but you don’t have to watch the whole thing to get the jist. In the video, Vogue is doing a panel interview with Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham and Paloma Elsesser and the girls get real about everything! The #MeToo movement, their weight gain, their weight loss, internet trolls. The whole Shebang. But it’s Gigi who seems to not be able to escape the unwelcome attention from her weight loss. She said, QUOTE "I loved my body when I was curvier. Then, as I lost [the weight], people were still mean." She added…
Let us not forget, Gigi has Hashimoto's disease, which CAUSES her weight fluctuations. She previously lamented, QUOTE: "Nowadays, people are quick to say, 'I used to love Gigi's body, and now she just gave in.' But I'm not skinny because I gave in to the industry. When I had a more athletic figure, I was proud of my body because I was an amazing volleyball player and horseback rider. But after discovering that I have Hashimoto's, I needed to eat healthy and work out.” She added that she would love her QUOTE "a** back" and QUOTE "the t*ts I had a few years ago… I loved my body then, and I love my body now. Whoever is reading this, I want you to realize that three years from now you will look back at a picture from this time period and be like: 'Wow, I was so hot. Why did I feel so bad about myself because of some stupid thing someone said?'"
That’s so true. We’re all probably the hottest we’re ever gonna be so let’s just say thank you God, parents, DNA, Allah, and let’s just be grateful. And tell the haters to suck it. Right?
