Gigi Hadid shuts down Venice Beach to debut her second collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger!
And with so many celebs in attendance, we ALMOST forgot about the clothes.
The TommyxGigi Spring 2017 collection took over the boardwalk in Venice Beach, California yesterday. The blowout carnival event included street performers, food trucks, carnival rides, and even a performance from Fergie. Naturally, Gigi Hadid herself kicked off the runway show in a crop top and leather pants.
Bella Hadid followed walking behind Gigi in the show, with their family cheering them on from the front row. Gigi’s Dad Mohammad was there, along with former Step dad David Foster, Mom Yolanda, and brother Anwar. Stars in attendance included Super Bowl halftime queen Lady Gaga who was seen taking a photo with Gigi’s Mom. Other A Listers sitting front row included Kaia Gerber, Kris Jenner, Sofia Richie, Camila Cabello, Rachel Zoe, and more. Over on the catwalk, supermodels Joan Smalls and Hailey Baldwin were seen modeling Gigi’s collection. Oddly missing in action at the event were Gigi’s boyfriend Zayn Malik, Kendall Jenner, and Taylor Swift. As for the clothes, the TommyxGigi collection blended preppy, boho, and patchwork with a major 90’s vibe. And in case you’re not aware, Tommy Hilfiger operates on a see it, buy it schedule, so the clothes are available for purchase immediately! Even before the show began many of the items were sold out online. Gigi and Bella closed the show and it ended with Anwar surprising Gigi with a big bouquet of yellow roses. After the show Bella took to Instagram to gush about Gigi writing, “I’m so proud of you and all of your accomplishments sister. Another incredible collection and the most EPIC show I have ever seen…”
