The original song lyrics to Little Mix’ hit “Shout out to My Ex” have been leaked, and Gigi Hadid has spoken… so is it time for Perrie Edwards to move on and get gone?
The tables have turned and this time Gigi is giving a shout out to Zayn’s ex: GIRL, MOVE ON.
In what seems like Little Mix’ forthcoming album “Glory Days” is to be an entire journal entry of songs dedicated to dissing exes, we’ve already gotten an inside look at what it was like to date Zayn, but in a turn of events, the original lyrics to the foursome’s track “Shout out to My Ex” have been leaked, also taking down Zayn’s new model girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
The new single has been the topic of discussion due to its jabs at Zayn, but in the original version that didn’t make the album (thankfully), the lyrics read QUOTE, “Heard he been f—king some model chick, yeah that s–t hurt I’ll admit, but f–k that boy I’m over it.”
OH MY LANGUAGE, LADIES. Although these lyrics weren’t originally intended to be released to the public, sources are stating that Gigi has gotten word of the lyrics, and has reportedly told pals that she QUOTE, “wishes Perrie would just move on and leave her and Zayn alone. She thinks the song and the lyrics are immature.”
The source also revealed that, “Zayn has heard the original lyrics and was surprised with how harsh they were. He understands that Perrie is free to vent and write about whatever and whomever she wants, but obviously he isn’t a fan of the song.” He has allegedly been “downplaying it to Gigi, and telling her not to give it any energy or thought, and that it just comes from a place of jealousy.”
Soooo lesson learned today is to NEVER break up with your girl via text… hear that everyone?! Perrie and the rest of Little Mix have yet to respond to the original leaked lyrics, but only time will tell. Until then, I’m sure looking forward to even more new tracks from Little Mix come this Friday, but right now, I’m curious to know all your thoughts on Gigi’s alleged comments about the lyrics, so get to talking right down here in the comments, and after that, don’t forget to click right here for some good ol’ TMI period talk on Beauty Break.
