It was just your average day when 3-year-old Chloe’s unimpressed facial expression became stamped on what would soon be the most relatable viral hit, but now, she’s allllll grown up!
Today’s episode is brought to you by the Un-carrier®. With unlimited data from T-Mobile®, the party never ends.
And we can officially announce that unimpressed Chloe has turned her famous frown upside down!
It’s been nearly four years since the viral internet meme featuring a then 3-year-old Chloe made its way onto millions of computer screens and Instagram tags. It’s crazy to think that Chloe and her family’s Disneyland trip back in 2013 was where it all began, but it’s even harder to believe that Chloe’s infamous facial expression was the result of her mom excitedly relaying that they were on their way to the happiest place on Earth…
Oh, the irony… the meme began circulating with captions featuring the most relatable everyday circumstances that always seem to result in a ‘Can you effing not?’ type of situation. But unlike then 3-year-old Chloe, her now 6-year-old self is much more excited about family vacations.
Chloe’s mom Katie Clem, runs she and her sister Lily’s Instagram account, where Chloe can now be seen making a plethora of facial expressions during family vacations, summertime pool hangs, tasty dinner dates, and posing with her family. Chloe even got to visit Google in Sao Paulo during her most recent family vacation to Brazil this week, where she posed with her claim to fame. Her mom shared the photo, captioning it, “Google is amazing! Chloe loves seeing herself on the elevator door and all over #saopaulo! You have a beautiful city!”
The video to this day has ranked in over 18 million views while Chloe and Lily’s Instagram account stands at a whopping 553,000 followers and counting. Both Chloe and Lily continue to receive modeling offers and have also starred in multiple YouTube videos, and mama Clem is constantly gushing about her shining stars on Instagram (but who wouldn’t?!), as she recently said QUOTE, “My heart is full. I love these girls deeply! I say this all the time BUT how did I get so lucky?”
If only Chloe knew the significance of a meme nowadays – we’ll never forget the face of a true relatable legend.
