DAP legal bureau chief Gobind Deo Singh said that the statement by minister in the prime minister's department Azalina Othman Said that Malaysia will not send lawyers to observe the proceedings on the United States Department of Justice suits is not acceptable.
He said Malaysia must take part in this claim as it involves billions of ringgits and the best way to protect the country and its assets is to appoint lawyers to attend and find ways to claim any of the assets if possible.
