Good Food Hunting At Serdang Morning Market

Before Seri Kembangan this place was called  Serdang New Village. It was established in 1952 by the British as a village for the Chinese community during the Communist insurgence then. Today ,this area is a huge constituency and a  thriving modern community. Surrounded by malls, shops, hotels,colleges, transportation hubs and even a theme park. However , there are about 2,500 houses still remaining from the olden days and a smattering of wooden houses with zinc roofs can still be seen.Manaweblife wants to capture the old spirit and allure  of this once one of the largest new village communities ,  despite the resounding drum of new hi-rise and endless traffic all around .

The market is still a beehive of activity especially during the weekend even though some big name hypermarkets and super malls are just a crawl away.
