Civil servants can get up to an additional RM2,500 in financial aid from the government next year.

Among others, civil servants from grades 11 to 56 will get an additional wage increment of RM100 per month starting January - translating to RM1,200 by year-end.

This is on top of their scheduled yearly wage increments.

In addition, civil servants Grade 56 and below will get RM700 in special assistance from the government.

Also, RM600 in Aidilfitri aid will be paid to civil servants in March. Ramadhan, which precedes Aidilfitri, is expected to start on March 23.
