Deputy Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Fuziah Salleh said that as of June 23, a total of 2,790 premises were inspected by her ministry with 210 notices issued due to price increases following the targeted diesel subsidy's implementation.
She added that seven investigation papers were also opened and stressed that prices of goods were under control.
Fuziah said this in the Dewan Rakyat today in response to a question from Richard Riot (GPS-Serian), who had asked about the measures the government has implemented to ensure that prices of goods were under control.
