The government will set up a special channel under InvestKL to attract investments from China.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said the trade war between China and the US has created an opportunity for Malaysia to be the preferred destination for Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) and as China is Malaysias largest trading partner, FDI from China should be comparable with the US.
