More activist groups have condemned the violent treatment of PSM activist Chong Yee Shan, during the row between farmers and the Perak Land and Mines Office enforcement officers.

In a statement, the Climate Emergency Coalition of Malaysia said the violence against a woman, a civil society activist, a Malaysian citizen is unacceptable.

The group also called for the government to take stern administrative and criminal action against the officer.
