DAP national chairperson Lim Guan Eng has taken a swipe at caretaker prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob for claiming he was just joking about sacking all the 12 Perikatan Nasional cabinet ministers who sent a letter to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to object to the dissolution of Parliament.

"This is making a mockery of the Federal Constitution and the country’s electoral process by regarding the sacking of 12 PN ministers and dissolving the Parliament as a joke."

He said sacking ministers and dissolving the Parliament are grave and serious acts that involve the king and are provided for in the Federal Constitution.
