Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng on Tuesday said the government will honour an interest payment on an 1MDB loan due by the end of this month. The interest charge of US$50.3 million represents the first financial commitment that the Pakatan Harapan-led government must honour over the 1MDB scandal since coming to power after the May general election.
