Johor police today confirmed that PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang is being investigated by the Bukit Aman’s Classified Crime Investigation Unit in accordance with Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948.
Johor Police Chief, Kamarul Zaman Mamat in a statement said, Hadi was disputing the power of Pardon Board in his speech at PAS headquarters in Bakri, Muar on the 26th August.
