After many denials from the government regarding an offer to PAS to work with it, party president Abdul Hadi Awang today explained that the invitation was not made recently.

Instead, he explained that the offer he received to join the government was made immediately after the 15th general election (GE15).

"(The offer to join the government was made) After the election. There is no new one," he said during a press conference in conjunction with the Terengganu International Summit 2023.
