After breaking up for the first time in early July, Halsey and G-Eazy were spotted holding hands at a VMAs after party and eventually confirmed that they were back together. The singer and rapper were seemingly doing well the second time around, but apparently could not make things work.
A source tells E! News that Halsey and G-Eazy broke up again because he was allegedly getting flirty with girls at a party recently. The insider explains QUOTE “G-Eazy and Halsey were doing well until a couple of days ago when G-Eazy performed at the Karma International party in Los Angeles on Saturday and was flirting with several girls in public. G-Eazy was telling everyone that he was single and that he and Halsey are always 'on-and-off,' but they are currently split."
A separate source basically confirms these allegations and tells Us Weekly QUOTE “They just can’t seem to get past their previous issues. [G-Eazy] was all over other girls publicly at his Halloween party this past weekend."
Halsey hinted that infidelity caused the pair’s first split over the summer by liking a few cryptic tweets, but never confirmed that cheating was the official cause.
The singer, who was in Tokyo at the time of the alleged flirting, wrote some cryptic words on Twitter shortly after the breakup news surfaced.
She tweeted QUOTE “Reminder to self: happiness is not a replacement for misery. it’s an addition. pain will always be there. but that’s okay. u allow happiness to join as another option. so when the time comes, it’s there waiting, existing; a possibility for when you’re ready to choose.”
The “Without Me” crooner also wrote QUOTE “@ me: life is not pain vs happiness. one does not replace the other. they exist together. happiness doesn’t arrive as a replacement. it arrives to assist u in carrying the weight of the pain.”
It was just a few days ago that the 29-year-old rapper was gushing about the 24-year-old singer by saying QUOTE “I think the world of her. She’s a really special person, a really special human being. Besides how great of an artist she is, but as a human, I love her.”
Halsey and G-Eazy are no longer following each other on Instagram, which basically is the final nail in the coffin and proves their breakup.
