Several Pakatan Harapan MPs lodged a police report over claims by former inspector-general of police Abdul Hamid Bador that there was interference from Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin in the police force.
The five MPs, Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok, Lumut MP Hatta Ramli, Petaling MP Maria Chin Abdullah and Wangsa Maju MP Tan Yee Kew, each filed separate police reports.
Fahmi said that the allegations by the ex-IGP were a serious matter and had to be investigated.
