Harry Styles has apparently been offered a movie role in Christopher Nolan’s new film, re-igniting those rumors that the One Direction star is making a move into acting.
It’s hard to imagine Harry doing anything but serenading us along with the rest of the One Direction crew, but it looks like we’re about to see a whole new side of Harry’s talents--in acting!
That’s right our favorite 1D heartthrob has been offered a role in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming action adventure film, Dunkirk. Though it’s not believed that Harry has a leading role in the movie, he would be joining A-list actors like Tom Hardy for the World War II inspired film. The plot and character details are under wraps right now, so we can’t speculate what kind of part Harry will play, but can you just imagine him as a 1940s British soldier for a second? Can you handle that handsome image in your mind? Go ahead, I’ll wait while you finish swooning.
Christopher Nolan previously directed Inception and The Dark Knight trilogy, so getting a part in one of his films is some serious business. According to Deadline, Harry really impressed the filmmakers at Warner Bros. studios with his audition for the role. That may come as a surprise to those who think Harry’s just a handsome singer boy band, but we have complete faith in Harry that he’s going to blow everyone away with his acting chops.
