Making the move from music to movies? From pop sensation to leading man…Clevver’s got all of the details about Harry Styles new role!
One Direction's Harry Styles is reportedly in 'talks' to star in a Hollywood flick. Once 1D fans get a hold of that news…that should #breaktheinternet
Harry Styles rose to international super stardom, as a member of the boy band One Direction. But just like Justin Timberlake from Nsync and Nick Crater from the Backstreet boys, he garnered just a little bit more attention than the rest. And the fans aren’t the only ones that think he sticks out as the leading man.
According to The Sun newspaper, Legendary film producer Harvey Weintein, sat down with the 20 year old musician to talk about film opportunities. He told a reporter for The Sun, QUOTE “There’s no question he will enter the movie business. I get from him that he wants to. When you meet him, he’s super-charismatic.
The academy award winning producer knows a star when he sees one. He’s worked with Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day Lewis, just to name a few. And the 62 year old filmaker obviously sees something in Harry because he’s already offered him a movie role! He said, QUOTE “We offered him a part and he couldn’t do the movie because he had the tour. The amount of money their tour did is crazy, so he’s got obligations.”
Obligations indeed. it was recently revealed that 1D’s stadium tour Where We Are was the highest-grossing tour of 2014, raking in a cool £180million which is about almost 292 million dollars. The band exceeded Justin Timberlake and The Rolling Stones'.
