Former spy chief Datuk Hasanah Abdul Hamid, 61, was charged with criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving US$12.1mil of government funds at the KL Sessions Court on Thursday. Bail was set at RM500,000. Hasanah’s lawyer Datuk Shaharuddin Ali later told reporters that money for a spy agency should not be discussed in court.
