Marvel universe players Hayley Atwell and Clark Gregg duke it out on a new episode of Lip Sync Battle.
Lip sync battle is definitely one of our favorite shows, and this week the competition was particularly fierce because it was Marvel actor vs. Marvel actor.
Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell battled Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Clark Gregg on the lip syncing competition show this week, and neither one was afraid to let their freak flag fly with their musical choices and performances, to say the least.
Haley went with a pretty safe option for round 1, choosing The Offspring’s Pretty Fly for a White Guy as her jam, and we gotta give her props for fully committing.
And Clark was literally pretty fly for a white guy when he mouthed a passionate rendition of Wreck-X-N-Effect’s “Rump Shaker.”
In round 2, Hayley stepped up her game with Lady Gaga, and thanks to a creepy entrance where she emerged from a white pod, some over-the-top eclectic costumes, and 100% commitment from the actress, she did a Mother Monster proud.
But as fun and weird as Hayley’s choice was, nothing beats a middle aged dude going all out to a sexy Britney Spears song, which is exactly what Clark chose to do for his Round 2 choice. He busted out Britney’s “Toxic”, even donning Brit’s iconic blue flight attendant outfit for the performance.
It was hilarious and super fun, and is definitely what put him over the edge to win the show, but let’s just say we’ll never hear that song the same way again…
So now I wanna know, who do you guys think dominated the lip sync battle? Do you think Clark was the clear winner, or do you think Hayley did a better job?
