Love will find each other. Heidi a.k.a "The Girl with the Hair" reserves her own hopes through her debut single titled ‘Soon Finland’, hoping that love not just mutually fills up each other, but also heals each other.
You could say that ‘Soon Finland’ is based on one of Heidi’s deep personal experiences. She conveyed all her hopes to her loved one, who at that time was living in Finland.
According to the UN , Finland is the happiest country on Earth. Heidi wants to find her own happiness by seeing her faraway loved one. This Bogor-born girl, born on January 30th, 1998 wanted to be close to her loved one very much - long-distance relationships are indeed filled with yearning and daydreaming bliss.
“The song started out purely as my hopes, expectations, and future plans of me and my partner at that time. The words were truly from the heart. Since it was a long-distance relationship, the song is full of longing, yearning to do this and that, let’s do this and that,” explains Heidi.
Despite having a specific meaning for the songwriter, Heidi does not want to limit the interpretation of those who hear it. This sweet girl who was once part of a local indie band really wants to hear comments and input about ‘Soon Finland’.
She wrote the lyrics of ‘Soon Finland’ in English, as she felt that her story was more comfortable told in English. This does not mean that she does not have Indonesian songs.
Regarding the tone of the music, she admits that the mood of ‘Soon Finland’ is suitable with folk music. A fan of Keaton Heston, Bob Dylan and folk music, Heidi felt that ‘Soon Finland’ found its “soul” when performed with only dominant vocals and guitars. She thinks that this song, released under A Private Collection sounds more natural and honest.
“It could be because of my tender heart, that I switched to folk music. ‘Soon Finland’ is the start for everything for my new solo career, and I really want to get feedback from listeners. I never thought that this song would go so far. This is not really a happy song, but not really a sad song either. Happy sad. It's a song about love and longing but in a positive, calm and peaceful way. But then again I will leave it to the listeners," she continues.

Boleh dibilang lagu 'Soon Finland' adalah salah satu pengalaman pribadi Heidi yang cukup mendalam. Ia menyampaikan seluruh harapannya kepada sang kekasihnya saat itu yang tinggal di Negara Finlandia.
Finlandia sendiri pernah diulas sebagai negara yang paling bahagia di dunia , dan hal ini menambah kecintaan Heidi akan aura dari “Negeri Seribu Danau” tersebut .Heidi ingin menemukan kebahagiaannya dengan menemui kekasihnya nun jauh di sana. - dan ingin sekali berada di dekat kekasihnya. Menjalin cinta jarak jauh memang penuh kerinduan dan khayalan indah.
"Lagu itu awalnya memang purely isinya tentang harapan, ekspektasi sama future plan aku dan partnerku pas saat itu. Jadi kata-kata yang ada di situ memang benar-benar dari hati. Kan ceritanya LDR nih, makanya lagunya longing banget, mau ini mau itu, nanti kita gini nanti gitu," kisah Heidi.
Meski memiliki arti tersendiri bagi penciptanya, Heidi mengaku tak mau membatasi interpretasi siapapun yang mendengarnya. Dara manis yang pernah juga tergabung dalam band indie lokal itu pun ingin sekali mendengar komentar dan masukan tentang 'Soon Finland'.
Ia juga menulis/merangkai lirik 'Soon Finland' dalam bahasa inggris. karena dirasa cocok dalam mengilustrasikan kisahnya.
Bicara tentang warna musiknya. Heidi mengaku mood lagu 'Soon Finland' memang dirasa sangat cocok untuk musik folk. Selain penggemar Keaton Henson dan Bob Dylan itu juga menyukai musik folk, Heidi merasa 'Soon Finland' menemukan "nyawanya" ketika hanya diisi dengan vokal dan gitar yang dominan. Menurutnya, lagu yang dirilis di bawah label A Private Collection ini jadi terdengar lebih natural dan jujur.
"Mungkin ternyata hati aku lembut, jadi beralihnya ke musik folk. 'Soon Finland' ini awal segalanya buat aku di solo karier ini dan aku ingin benar-benar mendapat feedback dari listener.”
