A RM3mil golden chariot will hit the streets during the Thaipusam festival in February, challenging the 120-year monopoly of the silver chariot operated by the Nattukottai Chettiars. The issue has sparked a quarrel between Penang Hindu Endowment Board and the Nattukottai Chettiar Temple trustees.
