【本報訊】臨近歲晚，70名hmv員工要面對公司倒閉的悲歌。hmv數碼中國（8078）昨公佈hmv零售業務自願清盤，結束其25年歷史，估計hmv有4,000萬元欠債未清還，但公司存貨價值只有900萬元。今次hmv突結業，暴露了母公司財政問題，亦將集團主席蕭定一的名聲、資產同時押上。
