Human Resources Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong has reportedly said that alleged salary deductions for various mistakes and misconduct is a violation of the Employment Act 1955.
This in response to a viral post claiming a restaurant chain imposed fines for “wrongdoings” such as taking medical leave or going to the toilet too frequently.
