Bersatu secretary-general Hamzah Zainuddin reiterated today that Dr Mahathir Mohamad and four others had their Bersatu memberships nullified for violating the party constitution for sitting on the opposition bench during the Dewan Rakyat sitting on May 18th.

Hamzah also disputed Marzuki Yahya's position in the party, saying party president Muhyiddin Yassin had appointed him to replace Marzuki on March 26th.
