在野党今日在国会紧追《联合国消除一切形式种族歧视国际公约》（ICERD）课题，结果议会陷入长达半小时的骂战。巫统和伊党还挑起一支旧视频，攻击掌管国家团结及社会和谐的首相署部长瓦塔慕迪（P Waythamoorthy）言论矛盾，更侮辱国家和伊斯兰，是"种族主义部长"。
瓦塔慕迪指出，所谓的视频，是他11年前以兴权会主席身份向荷兰媒体讨论2007年兴权会示威，当时是在批评前朝国阵政府歧视印裔。
