IGP: No arrest so far over Pasir Gudang toxic spill

Police have denied arresting any individual in relation to the suspected toxic waste dumping in Pasir Gudang.
Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said this when asked about media reports that three individuals had been arrested over the toxic pollution in Pasir Gudang.
On Tuesday, Johor Department of Environment (DoE) director Mohammad Ezzani Mat Salleh was reported by Bernama as saying that three people had been arrested over the incident. They included two factory owners.
Subsequently, Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change Minister Yeo Bee Yin said on Wednesday that one of the individuals would be charged. However, nothing has taken place.
